  • Education: Bachelor’s degree/Advanced Diploma in Digital Forensics/Computer Science (NQF 7) + 5-7 years’ experience OR Matric + 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Specialization: Data Analysis, ICT, Legal Compliance
  • Core Experience: Digital evidence handling, criminal investigations, forensic reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure and analyze digital evidence meeting legal standards
  • Maintain chain-of-custody protocols for all evidence
  • Convert technical data into actionable investigative insights
  • Testify in legal proceedings as expert witness
  • Implement quality assurance for forensic processes

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Digital forensic tools and methodologies
  • Evidence lifecycle management
  • Tax/customs legislation knowledge
  • Investigative interview techniques
  • Advanced data processing
