- Education: Bachelor’s degree/Advanced Diploma in Digital Forensics/Computer Science (NQF 7) + 5-7 years’ experience OR Matric + 10 years’ relevant experience
- Specialization: Data Analysis, ICT, Legal Compliance
- Core Experience: Digital evidence handling, criminal investigations, forensic reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and analyze digital evidence meeting legal standards
- Maintain chain-of-custody protocols for all evidence
- Convert technical data into actionable investigative insights
- Testify in legal proceedings as expert witness
- Implement quality assurance for forensic processes
Essential Technical Skills:
- Digital forensic tools and methodologies
- Evidence lifecycle management
- Tax/customs legislation knowledge
- Investigative interview techniques
- Advanced data processing
