Position Summary

We seek an IT Security Specialist to manage user access controls and mainframe security systems. This role focuses on implementing security protocols through IBM’s Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) while ensuring compliance with information security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer user access lifecycle management across SAP, Mainframe, and other systems
• Configure and maintain IAM infrastructure including IBM RACF and SAP GRC
• Develop security reports for risk management and fraud prevention
• Contribute to security strategies, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system access controls
• Implement password management protocols and self-service solutions

Qualifications & Requirements

Option 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in IT (NQF 7)
• 2-3 years’ information security experience
• 1-2 years at specialist level

Option 2:

• Senior Certificate (NQF 4)
• 5 years’ information security experience
• 1-2 years at knowledge worker level

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in IBM RACF/zOS Security Server
• Experience with SAP GRC administration
• Mainframe security configuration expertise
• Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
