Job Purpose

The Western Cape Mobility Department is offering an employment opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render administrative support services in Parow.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Recommendations

  • Relevant administrative support experience in a traffic law enforcement working environment.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including holidays.
  • Willingness to travel within the Province.
  • Valid driving license (Code B or higher).

Key Performance Areas

  • Render general clerical support services.
  • Provide supply chain clerical support services within the component.
  • Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component.
  • Provide financial administration support services within the component.

Competencies

A good understanding of the following areas is essential:

  • Clerical duties and practices, data capture, and statistical collection.
  • Legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Working procedures relevant to the working environment.

Skills required:

  • Planning and organizing.
  • Proven computer literacy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Remuneration

  • Annual Salary: R 216,417 (Salary Level 5)
