Rand Water is seeking a motivated and diligent individual to join our team as a Driver’s Aide. This role is pivotal in assisting Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators with various daily tasks, ensuring smooth operations within our Bulk Water Services portfolio. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency through support and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

As a Driver’s Aide, your primary duties will include:

• Loading and Transporting Equipment: Safely and effectively load and transport necessary equipment to various sites.
• General Maintenance Tasks: Perform cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and the yard, alongside other general duties to uphold operational standards.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Educational Background: A Grade 12 qualification is essential.
• Driver’s License: A valid Code 8 driver’s license is required.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in related tasks is preferred. Familiarity with the tie-down of equipment and basic rigging and slinging will be advantageous.
