As a Commercial Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in driving sales for Hyundai’s commercial vehicle offerings, contributing to the growth of the business while providing exceptional service to customers. If you have excellent networking skills, experience with cold calling, and a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle market, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Conduct research and prospect new opportunities in the commercial vehicle market.
- Identify potential clients and develop strong business relationships.
- Negotiate and conclude sales contracts with customers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with truck bodybuilders, ensuring that they are OEM approved.
- Grow the customer base by proactively reaching out to prospects and identifying new revenue streams.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Perform necessary administrative duties related to sales transactions, including maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales contracts.
- Ensure that all documentation, including sales agreements, vehicle registrations, and financial details, is accurately processed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current Employment: Must currently be employed as a Commercial Sales Executive with at least 2 years of experience in the field.
- Sales Track Record: Proven experience in sales, with strong skills in networking and cold calling to drive new business.
- Driver’s License: A valid South African Code 10 driver’s license (or higher) is essential.
- Education:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
- A tertiary qualification related to the position is an added advantage.

- Commercial Vehicle Knowledge: Understanding of the latest commercial vehicle models and trends in the industry.
- Networking & Negotiation: Excellent networking and negotiating skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships in the commercial sector.
- Financial Understanding: Ability to understand financial statements and the tax implications associated with vehicle sales.
- Licensing Expertise: Knowledge of special licensing and vehicle registration processes.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pursue new business opportunities without constant supervision.
