MTN South Africa is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic call centre team. This role is an opportunity to engage with our corporate clients and business customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, professionalism, and care.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Problem-Solving

✔ Answer inbound calls courteously and professionally.
✔ Handle customer queries efficiently, providing timely resolutions.
✔ Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and follow-ups.
✔ Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring all queries are addressed with care.

Operational Excellence

✔ Work within established processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
✔ Engage with Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) teams and Corporate Credit Controllers.
✔ Provide support to sales consultants, account managers, and MTN partners.
✔ Escalate unresolved issues promptly to ensure service levels meet company standards.

Technology & Administration

✔ Use MTN’s systems and tools to log and track customer queries.
✔ Process service requests, upgrades, and cancellations efficiently.
✔ Ensure the security of sensitive customer data while adhering to company policies.

What You’ll Need

Matric or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years’ experience in a call centre with a strong customer service focus.
1 year of experience in correspondence and credit management (preferred).
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
✔ Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and handle high-pressure situations.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
✔ A problem-solver with excellent time management and conflict resolution skills.
