Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant at Old Khaki, your role will involve:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and using effective selling techniques to exceed expectations.
  • Maintaining stock loss control measures within the store.
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive sales and maximize turnover.
  • Upholding visual merchandising and housekeeping standards to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Creating an engaging and inspiring store environment that aligns with the Old Khaki brand.
  • Processing transactions accurately, including handling cash, cards, vouchers, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensuring all outgoing stock and items are correctly scanned and paid for.
  • Establishing professional customer relationships and providing helpful, knowledgeable assistance.
  • Reporting customer feedback, compliments, and complaints to management.
  • Addressing customer stock queries promptly and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Knowledge of current clothing trends and outdoor lifestyles (specific to the brand being applied for).
  • Availability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
