What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, candidates must have:
✔ Enrolment in a Tertiary Institution – Must be registered and accepted for a B.Ed Foundation Phase degree.
✔ Experience Advantageous – Previous experience in a similar role will be beneficial.
✔ SACE Registration – Provisional registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
✔ Passion for Education – A strong desire to support teaching and learning in the Foundation Phase.
✔ Clean Criminal Record – A clear background check is required.
✔ Willingness to Participate in Extracurricular Activities – Including sport and cultural programs.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Classroom Support – Assist the teacher with lesson preparation, organization, and activities.
📌 Resource Management – Take responsibility for school equipment and class materials.
📌 Collaboration – Work closely with Foundation Phase teachers to ensure smooth class operations.
📌 Positive Learning Environment – Help create an engaging, nurturing space for young learners.
📌 Extramural Involvement – Support sport and cultural activities to promote holistic development.
📌 General Administration – Assist with admin tasks and school events when required.
📌 Commitment to School Values – Align with the ethos and mission of the school.
