PPC is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Consultant Sales professional to join our team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to serve as a key liaison between our customers and the company. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in building and maintaining relationships with both current and prospective clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the sales department and customers, ensuring consistent communication and service excellence.
- Identify and engage new and existing clients, generating sales proposals tailored to their needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain quality and consistency in product and service delivery.
- Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management, offering clear insights into sales activities, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
- Provide after-sales support, address client complaints, and proactively resolve any service issues.
- Inform clients about any unexpected delays or issues affecting their orders.
- Monitor the sales team’s progress, identify areas of improvement, and suggest strategies to enhance performance.
- Organize and assist in marketing events to promote the company’s services and products.
- Ensure effective customer service practices, including managing client expectations and offering value-added services.
- Continuously evaluate and respond to client queries, ensuring that all client needs are met.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate with Maths (National Diploma/BCom/BA Degree or working towards would be advantageous).
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry, particularly Ready-Mix, is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with sales and advertising techniques.
- A proven team player with high dedication and a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
- A valid driver’s license (Code B) is required.
The Consultant Sales role also involves the management of quotation processes, pricing review, debtor control, and the consistent follow-up of client orders to ensure satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, executing marketing initiatives, and maintaining customer service standards.
