The program, situated in the Internal Human Resources Directorate, offers a chance for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the HR field while contributing to public service delivery.

Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates wishing to apply for this internship must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma, BA Degree, BCom, BTech, Honors, or Masters in Human Resource Management, Management of Training, Labour Relations, Administration, Public Administration, or Organisational Development.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and be South African citizens.
- You must reside in Gauteng Province and be an unemployed graduate who has not participated in a government internship program before.
- The program is open to those who have completed their academic theory and need practical experience to finalize their qualifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Interns will be required to complete tasks related to Human Resources management within the department, contributing to key functions and gaining hands-on experience in various HR-related processes.
About the Programme:
The Gauteng Office of the Premier is dedicated to fostering youth development and skills enhancement in South Africa. This 24-month internship will provide recent graduates with the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional environment, helping them transition from academic studies into the workplace. The program is aimed at graduates who will have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate studies by the end of the 2024 academic year.
