Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior management. This includes managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling documentation, and assisting with budget administration.
Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Accredited Secretarial Diploma and/or Administrative Qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
- A certificate of completion must be provided
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in providing administrative support to senior management
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Willingness to work irregular hours when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities
- Secretarial & Reception Support: Manage senior managers’ schedules, communication, and office operations
- Administrative Functions: Handle documentation, record-keeping, and correspondence
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, schedule meetings, and ensure all necessary materials are available
- Budget Administration: Assist in managing financial documentation and budget tracking
- Policy Compliance: Study and apply relevant Public Service and departmental regulations

- Office administration and records management
- Procurement processes and financial administration
- Government systems such as GoFin/BAS and ECM/SharePoint

Salary & Benefits
- Annual Salary: R308,154 (Salary Level 7)
