💰 Stipend: R6,800 per month

Your Role & Responsibilities

💻 Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
✔ Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues
✔ Diagnose and resolve IT problems via phone, email, and in-person support
✔ Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
✔ Assist in managing Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise applications
✔ Ensure system updates and security patches are properly applied

📝 Service Management & Documentation:
✔ Follow ITIL-based processes for incident and problem management
✔ Log, track, and resolve IT support tickets using IT service management tools
✔ Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or third-party vendors
✔ Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT systems, troubleshooting guides, and procedures
✔ Identify recurring issues and suggest preventive solutions

🌐 Network & Security Support:
✔ Assist with Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, and firewall troubleshooting
✔ Monitor system performance and security alerts, reporting potential threats
✔ Ensure compliance with IT security policies and endpoint protection measures

🎓 User Training & IT Projects:
✔ Train and guide end-users on IT tools, software, and security best practices
✔ Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts

What You Need to Apply

Minimum Qualification: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Certifications: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows & macOS operating systems
  • Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and ITSM tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Understanding of IT security principles and troubleshooting methodologies
    Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
