Are you a recent graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science? Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is offering a fantastic two-year structured graduate development programme to help young professionals gain practical industry experience and boost their employability.

Programme Overview

This structured 24-month training programme is designed for unemployed South African graduates aged 18-35 who have completed their qualifications at Department of Higher Education & Training-registered institutions, such as Universities, Universities of Technology, and TVET Colleges.

The programme provides a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on experience, ensuring that participants gain exposure to real-world data analysis and problem-solving within TFR’s various operational divisions. Every six months, candidates’ progress will be evaluated to ensure both their development and the programme’s success.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✅ South African citizen
✅ Aged between 18 and 35 years
✅ Hold a National Diploma, Diploma, BTech, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours qualification (NQF Level 6 or above) in:

• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Data Science
  ✅ No prior work experience required
