Position Details:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualifications: LLB/BProc (Minimum), LLM preferred
• Experience: 3+ years legal practice & legislative drafting
• Location: Gauteng
• Field: Legal Services

Key Responsibilities:

Regulation Development:

• Draft/amend aviation regulations & technical standards
• Lead consultation processes with industry stakeholders
• Manage regulatory approval timelines and compliance
• Serve as CARCom committee secretary

Legal Advisory Services:

• Prepare legal opinions & review contracts/MOUs
• Support negotiations and risk assessments
• Guide litigation processes & appeals management

General Duties:

• Contribute to enforcement/exemption activities
• Prepare operational reports
• Provide cross-functional legal support

Requirements:

• Admitted attorney/advocate (SA bar)
• Legislative drafting certification
• Proven track record in:
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Contract law
  • Administrative law processes
