About Us

The Road Accident Fund is a statutory insurer providing compulsory cover to all South African motorists for liabilities arising from road accidents. We exclude property damage coverage while focusing on our social mandate to support accident victims.

Key Responsibilities

PAIA Compliance Management:

  • Ensure adherence to PAIA legislation and process approval requests within mandated timelines
  • Develop/maintain PAIA manual and optimize information request procedures
  • Enhance PAIA unit’s operational efficiency and accessibility

Strategic Leadership:

  • Contribute to policy development and implementation strategies
  • Prepare regulatory reports and establish functional reporting systems
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners

Team Management:

  • Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention
  • Oversee workforce processes including conflict resolution and performance management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Postgraduate qualification preferred)
  • 6-8 years PAIA-related experience with 2+ years in leadership
  • Expertise in legal compliance and information management systems
