Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 8 years’ relevant experience (local government preferred)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of LED legislation and policy development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement economic development strategies
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and partnerships
  • Coordinate tourism and heritage programs
  • Oversee rural regeneration initiatives
  • Analyze economic data and project proposals
  • Manage Social and Labour Plans implementation
  • Lead community skills development programs
  • Monitor heritage protection initiatives
  • Facilitate business support programs
