As part of Microsoft’s Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team, you will play a crucial role in transforming Microsoft’s commercial strategy into actionable plans that drive operational excellence. Our mission is to ensure the successful execution of strategies that deliver business impact at scale across Sub-Areas and Subsidiaries. We’re seeking a highly driven and motivated leader to oversee the Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts for Microsoft Security within the Africa Sub-Area. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your business acumen by managing various roles and functions within Microsoft’s diverse field organization.

As the GTM Manager for Security, you will provide business leadership for the Microsoft Security business in Africa, playing a key role in activating the seller community, driving targeted marketing activities, and ensuring operational excellence. By driving growth and providing strategic guidance, you will become instrumental in further expanding the security business in the region. This role allows you to develop end-to-end business skills in a complex multinational environment, while shaping Microsoft’s presence in a high-growth sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Business Performance
    • Collaborate with local teams to drive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for key Microsoft Security solutions, identifying market growth opportunities and creating clear execution plans.
    • Work closely with field teams to align, coach, and guide sales operations, marketing initiatives, and business processes, converting high-level strategic priorities into actionable, local plans.
    • Collaborate across Microsoft’s core teams to integrate the voice of the field into the strategy, helping to co-design and enhance programs.
  2. Lead Sales Enablement
    • Champion and drive solution plays across segments, ensuring a connected and cohesive sales and marketing execution strategy that maximizes performance and market share.
    • Work closely with the Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team to develop local partner-led marketing strategies and demand generation initiatives that support solution play performance.
    • Elevate Microsoft’s overall strategy and solution offerings, ensuring they align with industry needs and drive a strong presence in the market.
  3. Exemplify Microsoft Values, Culture, and Leadership Principles
    • Cultivate a culture of clarity and shared understanding by creating well-defined strategies and action plans that lead to success.
