Job Overview

Motus Toyota Johannesburg City is looking for a reliable Light‑Duty Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and equipment to various destinations, ensuring the safety and condition of both the cargo and the vehicle, and providing courteous service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to external suppliers, other Motus branches, customers, and any other required locations.
• Collect parts from other branches, customers, and suppliers, ensuring they remain undamaged during transit.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip for defects, damages, missing items, spare wheel, and tools; report any issues to the supervisor.
• Secure vehicles by locking them and storing keys in the designated key box or at reception.
• Assist customers during deliveries, answering questions and providing a professional, friendly service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, accidents, and traffic offences.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the department, including overtime when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Team‑player attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
