Job Purpose
Provide client‑focused reception services that support Nedbank’s business objectives and enhance the overall visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Nedbank’s values and culture in all interactions with visitors, callers, and stakeholders.
- Manage the flow of people at the reception desk, ensuring a pleasant and professional environment.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, handle inquiries, and provide general assistance.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Coordinate boardroom bookings, catering, and room set‑up for meetings.
- Provide secretarial support for business requests, including document preparation and data entry.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes, tools, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry changes, and Nedbank policies.
- Participate in Nedbank culture‑building and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budget‑related activities and look for cost‑saving opportunities.
- Help manage reputational risk by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support personal development through training, feedback, and career planning.
Essential Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
Preferred Qualification
- Secretarial qualification or equivalent administrative training.
Experience Required
- 1 – 2 years of secretarial or administrative experience.
