Job Purpose:
The Draughtsperson will use Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) and other relevant software packages to produce plans and technical drawings. The role requires the ability to gather technical specifications, incorporate them into accurate designs, and update record-keeping systems. This position plays a vital part in supporting water and wastewater projects by ensuring that the technical drawings meet required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Information: Gather and confirm technical information for incorporation into drawings related to water and wastewater projects.
- Drawing Development: Apply principles and techniques to create technical plans and drawings with precision.
- Information Record-Keeping: Ensure that technical information is accurately recorded and updated, and attend to any specific information needs.

Essential Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Architectural Draughting or any related qualification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and relevant software tools.
Preferred Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant experience.
