Job Type: Full Time
Qualifications: National Certificate/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Health & Safety or related field
Experience: 2-3 years in safety, health, and environmental management
Location: Bethlehem, Free State

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and organizational policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain updated occupational health risk registers.
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate safety drills.
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety protocols for employees/contractors.
• Implement environmental sustainability programs and waste management strategies.
• Manage incident reporting systems and corrective action plans.
• Organize safety training programs and committee activities.

Requirements:

• 3-year Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety or related field
• Experience with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation
• SAMTRAC/NOSA certification (advantageous)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license
• SAIOSH membership (preferred but optional)
