Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational Requirement: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
  • Experience: 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in an office environment.
  • Knowledge: An understanding of the local government environment is highly beneficial.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, time management skills, strong coordination abilities, and good writing skills.

Primary Function:

The role involves executing various administrative support duties to ensure smooth office operations and timely communication within the office. This includes handling general office management tasks like scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, and reporting activities.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide effective general office support services, including managing meetings and communication.
  • Maintain and organize office supplies and resources.
  • Provide efficient messaging services within the office.
  • Perform general administrative duties like document management and office operations.
