Key Responsibilities:
Claims Investigation & Assessment:
- Conduct field investigations: Interview drivers/witnesses, collect statements, and gather accident reports
- Create detailed accident scene sketches and photographic evidence
- Verify claimant information through official databases (Natis/Cross Check)
- Identify potential fraud cases and escalate to relevant departments
- Provide court testimony for fraud-related cases
Administrative Duties:
- Validate employment records, tax documents, and claimant identities
- Verify accident vehicle ownership and liability details
- Assess loss of earnings claims
- Prepare regular progress reports
Document Management:
- Maintain secure filing systems for easy document retrieval
- Ensure confidential handling of sensitive records
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Advise claimants and employers on claims processes
- Resolve investigation-related queries
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- 3 years’ experience in insurance investigations
- Investigation training certification (advantageous)
- Fraud examination certification (preferred)
