Position Details

Experience: 3 years environmental management experience

Field: Safety & Environment (HSE)

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• National Diploma in Natural Science/Environmental Management (NQF Level 6, 240 credits)

Core Competencies:

• Knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 standards
• Experience with environmental impact assessments
• Risk analysis and compliance monitoring skills
• Strong technical reporting abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO 14001 environmental management systems
• Ensure regulatory compliance through monitoring and audits
• Process environmental permits and licenses
• Conduct environmental impact investigations
• Develop and track environmental management plans

Essential Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Attention to regulatory detail
• Conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement
• Professional report writing
