Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma in Natural Science/Environmental Management (NQF Level 6, 240 credits)
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with environmental impact assessments
- Risk analysis and compliance monitoring skills
- Strong technical reporting abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001 environmental management systems
- Ensure regulatory compliance through monitoring and audits
- Process environmental permits and licenses
- Conduct environmental impact investigations
- Develop and track environmental management plans
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Attention to regulatory detail
- Conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement
- Professional report writing
