Job Title: Operational Ambulance Emergency Assistant

Job Details:
– Employment Type: Full-Time
– Required Qualification: Higher National Certificate (Ambulance Emergency Assistant or Emergency Medical Care)
– Experience: 1+ year in Emergency Medical Services (EMS); ILS experience preferred
– Location: Limpopo, South Africa

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Respond to emergency calls promptly and ensure operational readiness.
2. Deliver intermediate medical care aligned with professional guidelines.
3. Uphold the public image of ER24 through professional conduct.

Education Requirements:
– Essential: Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate or Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care.
– Preferred: Training in clinical practices per HPCSA guidelines (non-compliant candidates must complete this during probation).

Experience Requirements:
– Minimum: 1 year in EMS.
– Preferred: 1 year in Intermediate Life Support (ILS).

Key Skills & Knowledge:
– Application of best medical practices.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and emergency protocols.
– Familiarity with local geography and healthcare facilities.
– Knowledge of HPCSA guidelines and emergency documentation.
– Strong written and verbal English communication.
