Personal Assistant: Integrated Development Planning

Job Purpose

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior management within the Department of Local Government.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • NQF Level 5 qualification in Secretarial/Administrative studies or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting senior management

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage diary coordination and meeting logistics
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and official correspondence
  • Provide budget administration support
  • Handle confidential documentation and records management
  • Serve as primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders

Essential Competencies

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of public service regulations and financial procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B) preferred

Employment Details

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum
