About the Role

We seek a qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant to support our pharmacy team. This role involves assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions under supervision
  • Manage stock control and inventory systems
  • Perform administrative tasks and maintain records
  • Ensure clean and organized workspaces
  • Provide frontshop customer assistance

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
  • Valid registration with South African Pharmacy Council

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing systems
  • Knowledge of FMCG/retail operations (advantageous)
