Requirements

  • Proven experience in municipal supply chain operations
  • Thorough knowledge of MFMA and SCM regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with municipal IDP objectives
  • Supervise Demand Management team to ensure compliance with national regulations
  • Conduct market analysis for cost-effective procurement strategies
  • Manage supplier database maintenance and annual registrations
  • Prepare detailed reports for internal and external auditing processes

Performance Expectations

  • Ensure timely delivery of quality resources at optimal costs
  • Maintain transparent procurement processes per Section 217 of Constitution
  • Deliver accurate expenditure analysis reports quarterly
