Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate
• Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
• Valid registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
• Proficiency in English and a second language
• Experience with Unisolv software
• Strong numerical skills
• Flexibility to work retail hours

Preferred Skills

• Retail/FMCG operations knowledge
• Proficiency in a third language
• Experience with SAP and E-Scripting systems
• Knowledge of family planning medications and complementary medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense Schedule 1-2 medications under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare and package non-sterile medications according to SOPs
• Manage pharmaceutical stock control and inventory
• Process prescriptions accurately and advise patients on medication use
• Handle medical aid claims and billing processes
• Maintain patient records and manage profile updates
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for chronic medication authorizations
• Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations and Dis-Chem protocols
