Position: Principal Technical Official – Customer Network Centre (Distribution)

Requirements
Education:
- Senior Artisan Trade Certificate (Dry Trade) – NQF4 with 120 credits
Experience:
- 2 years in distribution network operation & maintenance
Key Competencies:
- Leadership: Team coaching, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving
- Behavioral: Integrity, customer focus, professionalism, results-driven
- Technical Knowledge: Eskom operational standards, HV/MV/LV systems, ORHVS Outcome 6 authorization, safety protocols
- Certifications: Valid EC driver’s license, Public Driver’s Permit (PDP), Meter Worker Certification
Responsibilities
- Execute network maintenance, repairs, and asset construction
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Provide technical training and support to teams
- Deliver efficient customer service for network-related issues
