Position Details

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Field: Science

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SCADA systems and record plant readings
• Inspect machinery and identify equipment failures
• Maintain pump stations and sedimentation tanks
• Report operational issues to senior staff
• Create maintenance job cards

Requirements

Education & Experience:

9+ Years Wastewater Experience

• Grade 10/NTC I + Operations Certificate
• OR Grade 10 + Relevant Unit Standards (30+ credits)

7+ Years Experience

• Grade 11/NTC II + Operator Certificate
• OR Relevant NQF 3 Qualification

3+ Years Experience

• Matric/NTC III + Operator Certificate
• OR Relevant NQF 4 Qualification

2+ Years Experience

• Water/Wastewater NQF 5 Qualification

Entry Level

• National Diploma in Microbiology/Chemical Engineering/Water Sciences
• OR NQF Level 6 in Water Management

Additional Requirements

• Valid Code EB driver’s license
• SCADA system knowledge
• Class III DWS registration
