Job Opportunity: Project Assistant
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Required Qualification: Higher National Certificate/National Certificate in Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years (including 2+ years in a Programme Assistant role)
- Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
- Department: Administration & Project Management
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Provide administrative and operational support for projects
- Manage program budgets and financial reporting
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
- Maintain project documentation and progress reports
- Support resource mobilization efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
Required Competencies
- Proven experience in public sector or international organizations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP
- Strong organizational abilities with multitasking capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented approach to data management
- Cultural sensitivity in multinational environments
Education & Experience Requirements
- College Diploma in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience
- Experience in international/multinational organizations preferred
