Position Overview:

We seek an accomplished researcher to lead innovative projects in biological pest control and integrated pest management strategies. This full-time position requires a PhD holder with demonstrated expertise in applied entomology and ecological research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement research programs for biological control of crop pests using natural enemies and microbial agents
  • Develop Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies combining biological controls, pesticide management, and habitat manipulation
  • Drive commercialization of novel bioproducts from research outcomes
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and interpretation for field/lab studies
  • Secure external funding through competitive grant applications
  • Manage research teams, budgets, and project deliverables
  • Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at international forums

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD in Entomology/Environmental Science with 5+ years’ relevant experience
  • Proven expertise in insect ecology and pest management systems
  • Strong record of scientific publications and research leadership
  • Demonstrated success in securing research funding
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and research design
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and fieldwork readiness
