Position Summary
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Western Cape
Experience: 3+ years in Community Development
Qualifications: National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in relevant field
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise 20-40 Community Development Workers (CDWs)
- Coordinate service delivery programs across government spheres
- Develop regional work plans aligning with municipal and provincial strategies
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to resolve service delivery challenges
- Monitor team performance and compile progress reports
Requirements
- Essential: Valid driver’s license (Code B+) & 3 years’ CDW experience
- Preferred: Community Development Learnership certification
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of public sector policies and local governance frameworks
- Proficiency in project management and data analysis
- Strong communication and community mobilization skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, reporting systems)
