Key Responsibilities

  • Support insect mass-rearing operations in controlled environments
  • Maintain test plants in nursery and greenhouse facilities
  • Assist with laboratory experiments and field data collection
  • Participate in technology transfer initiatives with agricultural stakeholders
  • Maintain clean working environments and equipment
  • Keep accurate records of plant and insect production

Requirements

  • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Diploma in Plant Protection/Production (advantageous)
  • Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheet data entry)
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in insect/plant cultivation
  • Prior field research experience
