Key Responsibilities
- Support insect mass-rearing operations in controlled environments
- Maintain test plants in nursery and greenhouse facilities
- Assist with laboratory experiments and field data collection
- Participate in technology transfer initiatives with agricultural stakeholders
- Maintain clean working environments and equipment
- Keep accurate records of plant and insect production
Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
- Diploma in Plant Protection/Production (advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheet data entry)
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insect/plant cultivation
- Prior field research experience
