Role Responsibilities
Research & Project Management
- Lead agronomy research projects from planning to implementation
- Manage project resources, budgets, and risk mitigation
- Conduct field trials and data analysis
- Produce scientific publications and technical reports
Innovation & Collaboration
- Develop new agricultural technologies and solutions
- Establish research partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders
- Secure research funding through proposal writing
Capacity Building
- Mentor junior researchers and students
- Supervise research teams and field staff
Requirements
- PhD/Masters in relevant field with 3-5 peer-reviewed publications
- Proven experience in securing research funding
- Experience in crop modeling (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB)
- Registration with scientific professional body (preferred)
