Role Responsibilities

Research & Project Management

  • Lead agronomy research projects from planning to implementation
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and risk mitigation
  • Conduct field trials and data analysis
  • Produce scientific publications and technical reports

Innovation & Collaboration

  • Develop new agricultural technologies and solutions
  • Establish research partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders
  • Secure research funding through proposal writing

Capacity Building

  • Mentor junior researchers and students
  • Supervise research teams and field staff

Requirements

  • PhD/Masters in relevant field with 3-5 peer-reviewed publications
  • Proven experience in securing research funding
  • Experience in crop modeling (advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license (Code EB)
  • Registration with scientific professional body (preferred)
