Position Details

  • Education Requirement: PhD in Aquaculture/Animal Science (or MSc with 5+ years experience)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in research environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage national research projects
  • Develop project budgets and resource plans
  • Secure funding through research proposals
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary research teams
  • Conduct field research and data analysis
  • Publish findings in scientific journals
  • Supervise junior staff and students
  • Present research at industry events

Candidate Requirements

  • PhD preferred (MSc considered with extensive experience)
  • Proven track record in aquaculture research
  • Experience managing research budgets
  • Strong publication history
  • Fundraising and proposal writing skills
  • Team leadership experience
