Key Responsibilities
This role encompasses various duties that revolve around system transactions, stock control, and administration. Here’s a brief overview of what you will be doing:
System Transactions & Stock Control
- Open let-down transactions promptly, within one hour of stock reservation in bulk.
- Support DC KPAs by managing reserved stock effectively, adhering to target thresholds:
- Raise the Bar: 15%
- WOW our customer: 5%
- Conduct daily push-up transactions to manage pickface aging and optimize the use of full pallet pickfaces.
- Ensure the integrity of slotting by maintaining the designated location/SKU relationship.
- Timely and accurate replenishment of all slotted areas.
- Maintain a single SKU in all full pallet pickfaces at all times.
- Accurately process all system adjustments post Management sign-off.
- Handle ad hoc transaction requests within one hour of receipt.
- Clear the returns putaway area in line with operational demands.
- Communicate and assign all open transactions to QWIX for operational execution.
- Monitor open transaction aging and escalate transactions older than 24 hours to the relevant HOD in Operations.
- Provide support for any additional operational requirements as needed.
Administration & Reconciliation
- Reconcile physical executions of transactions against system records to ensure accurate stock movement.
- Maintain meticulous records and files of all adjustments and posted stock counts.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all ad hoc system requests.
Health and Safety
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety standards and protocols in the DC.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF 4 (minimum requirement).
- 3–5 years of clerical experience within a Distribution Centre environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with accurate processing of stock transactions in a WMS or similar system.
- Ability to handle high transaction volumes with precision.
- Understanding of stock control and loss prevention principles.
- Ability to strictly follow returns and authorization procedures.
- Strong sense of accountability, especially when dealing with high-value goods.
- Must be medically fit for the physical demands of a DC environment.
- Reliable transportation to the Blackheath Distribution Centre, accommodating operational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
