What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience:
✔ Educational Background: B.Ed, PGCE, or an equivalent NQF-level qualification.
✔ Advanced Studies: An Honors Degree in Education or a related field is highly advantageous.
✔ Experience: A minimum of five years as a Principal or Head of a Preschool.
✔ Curriculum Expertise: Cambridge curriculum experience preferred.
✔ Professional Registration: SACE registration is required.
✔ Compliance: A clear criminal record is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

As the Pre-School Operational Head, you will be responsible for:
📌 Strategic Planning & Leadership – Overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth implementation of academic and extracurricular programs, and setting long-term school goals.
📌 Academic & Curriculum Management – Aligning assessment schedules with the CAPS curriculum, moderating assessments, and ensuring high educational standards.
📌 Budgeting & Financial Oversight – Developing and managing the school’s budget, aligning financial planning with enrollment targets and growth strategies.
📌 Staff Management & Development – Recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating educators while fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment.
📌 Health & Safety Compliance – Ensuring school-wide adherence to safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and child well-being regulations.
📌 Parental & Community Engagement – Establishing open communication with parents through newsletters, meetings, and events to build a strong school community.
📌 Discipline & School Culture – Maintaining a structured yet nurturing learning environment, enforcing discipline policies, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for both staff and students.
