Salary

R1,059,105 per annum (Total Cost Package)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Policing, Law, Forensics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 years’ experience with 3 years in criminal/forensic investigations
• Certification in Cellebrite, FTK, Oxygen or other forensic tools
• Court testimony experience (Regional Court level minimum)
• Valid driver’s license and technical proficiency with digital devices/OS
• Knowledge of SA Constitution, Criminal Procedure Act, and cybercrime laws

Key Responsibilities

• Manage digital evidence recovery from electronic devices including computers, mobile phones, and cloud storage
• Oversee forensic examinations following ISO17025 standards
• Develop and implement digital forensic policies/procedures
• Provide expert court testimony on digital evidence
• Supervise evidence handling and staff management
