Senior Information Technology Officer Opportunity – Richmond Municipality

Position Type: Full Time
Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Experience Required: 3-4 years
Minimum Education: Matric + 3-Year IT Qualification (NQF Level 6/7)

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12/Senior Certificate
• 3-year IT qualification (NQF 6/7)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluent in isiZulu and English
• 3-4 years’ IT experience (Municipal environment preferred)

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage municipal IT systems and network infrastructure
• Develop/maintain IT policies and strategic plans
• Research and implement new technologies
• Install and troubleshoot software/hardware
• Maintain network security protocols
• Oversee system configurations and upgrades
• Coordinate technology procurement processes
