- Comprehensive knowledge of South African Constitution and Public Finance Management Act
- Familiarity with public service legislative frameworks
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of Contracts Directorate
- Draft and review commercial contracts/service agreements
- Provide legal opinions on contractual matters
- Conduct legal research and develop organizational policies
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and legislation
- Manage departmental resources and mentor junior staff
