Key Responsibilities
Claims Assurance Management:
- Oversee claims processing according to established procedures
- Verify supporting documentation for claims
- Maintain detailed records in Claims Assurance Management System
- Coordinate with external attorneys and medical experts
Legal Advisory Services:
- Provide legal guidance on litigated and direct claims
- Document policy deviations and recommend improvements
- Conduct staff training on claims processing
Policy Development:
- Contribute to policy and procedure development
- Monitor industry best practices
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare management reports and performance analyses
- Develop functional reporting systems
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements
- LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification
- 5-7 years’ litigation experience
- Public sector experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of claims management processes
