Senior Public Prosecutor (Community Prosecutor)
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Education Requirement: LLB Degree or Equivalent Legal Qualification
Experience Requirement: Minimum 8 Years Post-Qualification Litigation Experience
Location: Bloemfontein, Free State Province
Essential Requirements:
- Proven track record in criminal litigation
- Demonstrated competencies in professional accountability, independent judgment, and ethical conduct
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous for community engagement)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community-focused crime prevention strategies
- Analyze local crime patterns and community safety challenges
- Lead collaborative initiatives with law enforcement and community stakeholders
- Conduct prosecutor-guided investigations and case management
- Represent the NPA in interagency partnerships and public education programs
- Monitor and report on initiative effectiveness using data analysis
