Senior Supply Chain Management Officer (Task Grade 12)

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract
  • Salary Range: R401,049 – R520,584 per annum
  • Location: Eastern Cape (Umzimvubu Municipality Area)
  • Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Management

Minimum Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 3+ years practical experience in procurement/supply chain functions
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • MFMA regulations
    • National Treasury guidelines
    • GRAP standards
  • Proficiency in MunSoft systems preferred
  • CPMD certification advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full SCM cycle implementation
  • Manage supplier relations and contractor engagements
  • Lead public procurement processes for goods/services
  • Develop and monitor SCM performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks
  • Prepare strategic reports and documentation
  • Supervise demand planning processes
