Position Details

Contract: Short-Term (Not exceeding 12 months)

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Diploma/Degree in General Nursing (NQF Level 6)
• SANC Registration
• Added Advantage: Midwifery, Community Health Services, or Psychiatry qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

• Administer immunizations, including school-based vaccines (HPV, Tetanus Toxoid) and deworming.
• Conduct health assessments for learners and the community, ensuring early detection of health conditions.
• Promote community health awareness through education and outreach programs.
• Engage with community groups to address communicable and non-communicable diseases.
• Maintain accurate health records and consent forms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including non-profit organizations and support partners.
