Position Summary

We seek a qualified Social Worker to provide professional services addressing social challenges, empowering individuals/families, and promoting community well-being in the Milnerton area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Social Work degree (SAQA-recognized)
  • Valid registration with SACSSP (South African Council for Social Service Professions)
  • Experience levels:
    • Grade 1: Entry-level (0-9 years)
    • Grade 2: 10+ years post-registration
    • Grade 3: 20+ years post-registration
    • Grade 4: 30+ years post-registration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license (Code B) preferred
  • Note: Candidates with mobility limitations may apply if transport access is available

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver social work services through case management and community programs
  • Address social instability factors and community challenges
  • Mentor junior staff and support team members
  • Maintain current knowledge of social work best practices
  • Complete required administrative documentation
