Position Details

Qualification: Trade Test Certificate (Essential)
Experience: 2+ years in FMCG maintenance
Location: Western Cape
Field: Engineering/Technical

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal equipment reliability and safety standards
• Perform instrumentation/electrical maintenance across production lines
• Manage PLC systems, control gear calibration, and electrical networks
• Reduce downtime through proactive troubleshooting and RCA
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate equipment documentation and shift reports
• Support new project commissioning and process improvements
• Coach production operators on technical best practices

Required Qualifications

• Certified Millwright/Artisan with instrumentation specialization
• Proven experience with TETRA PAK equipment (preferred)
• Competency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
• Knowledge of HAZOP studies and quality control systems
• Familiarity with pasteurization systems and dairy/juice processing
• Computer literacy with maintenance software experience
