Vacancy: Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

Position Overview

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualifications:
  Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Certificate in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field (Postgraduate qualification preferred)
• Experience: 4+ years in monitoring & evaluation
• Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage JOSHCO’s M&E system
• Design data collection tools for quantitative/qualitative analysis
• Lead impact-focused evaluation strategies
• Coordinate data collection and quality assurance
• Produce reports aligning with organizational objectives
• Supervise impact assessments and surveys
• Ensure compliance with financial and legislative frameworks

Requirements

• Proven track record in government/local government processes
• Expertise in national legislation and treasury frameworks
• Strong skills in data analysis and report writing
• Experience in information management systems
• Knowledge of housing sector challenges (advantageous)
