Position Overview

We seek a qualified State Accountant to support financial operations in our Participatory Democracy division. This role contributes to South Africa’s justice system by maintaining fiscal responsibility and supporting constitutional governance.

Key Requirements

• NQF Level 6 qualification in Financial Management, Accounting, or related field
• 2 years’ experience in finance/accounting roles
• Working knowledge of:
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Treasury Regulations
  • Public Service Regulations
  • Division of Revenue Act (DORA)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement project budgeting and financial forecasting
• Manage budget consolidation and expenditure processes
• Generate financial performance reports and statistics
• Support team leadership and operational management
